When Minnesota schools close for the teacher’s conference,
it is a golden opportunity to bring your family north for an
Indian Summer getaway. The fall color is often still with us,
flocks of geese are passing through, and the hiking trails are
beautiful. Firewood is stacked high for those interested in
having a cozy evening fire in their cabin fireplace, and the
corn bin is full if the kids would like to feed the ducks for
their last energy kick before they start their migration south.
The lodge has free DVD movies for you to take back to your
cabin, and you have several board games for your evenings as
well.
Includes: 4 nights accommodations with fireplace, 4 dinners
in either the Red Paddle Bistro or Justine’s Fine Dining,
canoes, hiking trails and guided naturalist activities.
