Here’s a great way to add a new dimension to your book discussion group. We select a
list of books (mostly fiction, and a couple of good mysteries) that feature Northwoods
and Minnesota authors and illustrators. Meet with your own group for your group’s
current pick, then join with others to discuss the Books in the Woods selections as you
wish. Afternoon presentations (in various formats — these can be readings, presentations,
or panels) feature the authors who will be joining us for the weekend. Previously featured
authors include William Kent Krueger, Chuck Logan, Faith Sullivan, Mary Logue, Deborah
Woodworth, Jim Northrup, Kelly Dupre, Joan Drury, Erin Hart, Ellen Hart, Shannon Olson,
Sarah Stonich, Will Weaver, Lorna Landvik, and KJ Erickson.
