This package includes everything you need for a total vacation—accommodations, all meals, boat and motor anytime you desire(with gas), canoes, kayaks, unlimited horseback riding, and all our guided naturalist programs. Picnic lunches are available if you want to be out exploring for the day, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate is available at the lodge all day, plus freshly baked cookies.

There are a variety of hiking trails to explore with many starting right behind the lodge. There are bins of corn and sunflower seeds for you when you care to feed the ducks at the waterfront or the song birds at your cabin feeder. The sand beach at the dock is a great place for some swimming or splashing around.

You are invited to enjoy your meals in Justine's Fine Dining, the Red Paddle Bistro or on the lodge patio. Justine's menu changes each day with 6 entrees to choose from, while the Bistro has a variety of huge deli style sandwiches, big bowls of walleye chowder, large fresh salads, and ½ pound hamburgers. On Sundays we fire up our big smoker and do baby back ribs with a dry rub, smoked over hickory. Weather permitting, Don fires up our wood bake oven on Tuesdays for homemade pizza for lunch. On Saturdays he smokes the prime ribs for a couple of hours before finishing them in the kitchen, and they become another tasty treat. If there are kids in your party, you are welcome to have them eat in the bistro on their own while you eat in Justine's.

The naturalists offer a variety of guided activities every day, which gives you a choice of planned activities, or your own independent day (boating, canoeing, riding, etc). Naturalist activities include hikes, paddles, animal searches, kids activities, birding, astronomy, history talks, and kids pizza night. Kids from 5 to 12 are invited to sign up for their own guided ½ day fishing trip with a northwoods guide (no adults allowed).

Massages, fishing guides, the Towering Pines Canopy Tour, and alcoholic beverages are the only things not included. Horseback riding is available for all over 7 years of age and under 240#.
