In late September the forest is bursting with beautiful reds,
golds, yellows, and greens as we reach the peak of Indian
Summer. The days are a bit cooler and it is perfect weather
for trekking in the woods.
Our naturalists will lead a variety of trips out into the
forest to their favorite color spots for two days. Some of the
hikes will come out on scenic overlooks, while others will go through thick cedar swamps or aspen highlands. We will mix
up the treks—some on the short and easy side, and one or two a bit longer. Packed lunches will be provided.
Includes: 3 nights accommodations, all dinners, canoes and
naturalist escorted fall color hikes
