Our fall gourmet weekend will feature special foods of the north country. We have all kinds of ways to present walleyes--in chowder, in sandwiches, and of couse dinner entrees. Then we work in blueberries, maple syrup, and cranberries.
We will try to get in some venison chops, to go with our smoked prime rib, pork chops from a specialty house in Missouri, and wild rice in may permeations.
In addition to all your good meals, you are invited to enjoy some of our hiking trails. The leaves have dropped so you will have better bird and wild life viewing. It is also an opportunity to enjoy some evening fireplace time, or to step out and marvel at all the stars that you do not see at home. You might also hear a nearby pack of wolves howling in the distance, or catch a viewing of the northern lights blazing across the northern skies.
