Honeymoon Packages

Dec 1 to June 12

An all-inclusive honeymoon package in the Minnesota north woods

It seems that everyone goes to the beach for their honeymoon these days. But a cabin hidden away in the snowy north woods can be much more romantic. Especially with your fireplace, spa tub, appetizers and wine in your cabin each evening and no sand in your food.

We have a multitude of winter activities at your disposal. Cross country ski and snowshoe trails are right out our doorstep. We have regular guided naturalist activities to choose from. You can experience the thrill of dog sledding with an experienced musher.

When you've had enough of playing in the snow we'll look after all your needs in your beautiful cabin complete with spa tub, steam shower, plush towels and linens, and cozy fireplace. You'll eat your gourmet meals in our main dining room, with breakfast delivered to your cabin each morning if you like.

In the evenings you can take a break from your fireplace once in awhile to go star gazing outside your cabin (winter star gazing is unmatched here in the north). And the northern lights may be showing off over the lake as well. Or if there happens to be a full moon, what could be more romantic than a moonlit walk through the snowy woods? Especially when you know you'll soon be back snuggling in front of your fireplace again.

Our Honeymoon Package includes: four nights accommodations in a lakeside fireplace romantic cabin, all meals (breakfast delivered to your cabin if you like), cross country skis, snowshoes, a dog sled ride, all our guided naturalist programs, and appetizers and wine each day before dinner.

Snowmobile rentals are also available for Minnesota residents 21 or older. Those born after 12/31/76 need their snowmobile safety certificate issued by the MN DNR.

Dec 1, 2014- June 12, 2015

$795.00 per person

Taxes and ski trail passes are additional

What a fantastic time we had on our first trip to Gunflint. We took full advantage of everything offered--boating, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, amazing food and even a professional massage. WOW. However, I must admit the most memorable part of our stay was my boyfriend's proposal at Bridal Falls- the cold, rainy, and bumpy boat ride out there quickly faded away. Thank you so much for our celebratory Champagne at dinner, Sue and Bruce. We so look forward to our next trip up there. Thanks again. Lynn and Ed 6/13
