At the time of the new moon, when the stars are shining brightly, we frequently get beautiful displays of
northern lights blazing across our northern skies. Often they have blue, green and red hues and dance across the
heavens in a mystical way. After your dinner in the lodge you should go out on the lake to do your first viewing,
then return to your cabin so you can cozy up by your fireplace. Just before turning in for the night you should
step out to see the display again, as it might well have gotten brighter and more encompassing. Remember, we
can not promise a northern lights display every evening, but this is the best time of each month for it to happen.
