Here in the northlands our skies are crystal clear and we see stars by the thousands. This weekend is the time
of the new moon when the stars are the brightest. You can see the constellations of the northern skies, the milky
way, the big dipper, and so much more. Our head naturalist leads evening gazing expeditions and he can point
out most of the prominent features in the celestial heavens. If the weather is cooperative, one of the treats of the
weekend is just laying down on the snow covered ice of the lake and taking in the fantastic views from horizon to
horizon….a view city folks never get to see anymore.
Includes: 2 or 3 nights accommodations in a lakeside fireplace cabin, all meals, and our guided star gazing
session each evening. In addition we include cross country skis and snowshoe rentals for your exploring hours
of the day. Taxes and ski passes are additional. |
