Wild Winter Package

This new package includes all the fun of a real northwoods retreat-cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. Over 75 km of beautifully groomed trails await you for your skiing, going through the back basin in a thick pine and aspen forest and up into the highlands with scenic overlooks. Dedicated snowshoe trails are skijoring at gunflint narrower and take you into thick cedar swamps and through stands of paper birch. The dog sled rides go either
of two ways- depending on the snow and ice conditions. We have trails for that activity into the back basin up
past Lonely Lake, or we do some of the rides on Gunflint Lake when the weather is nice and the ice conditions are
appropriate.

Includes: 3 or 4 nights accommodations in a lakeside fireplace cabin, all meals, ski and snowshoe rentals, guided
naturalist trips, and 2 dog sled rides on the 3 night package or 3 dog sled rides on the 4 night package. Taxes and
ski passes are additional.

Thank you so very much for a wonderful (if brief) stay. Lovely cabin in a lovely setting.

The staff people are very kind and helpful. We were lucky and thrilled to meet you and your wife. Our dinners were scrumptious! Loved the walleye chowder, too.

The dog sled rides were so much fun! Adam does a fine job handling the dogs--and telling us bits about the dogs-- and dog sledding in general.

We wish we could have stayed longer--but this was a gift from my children. A great and fun surprise.
