This bring-your-own-project retreat is a great way to get some quilting done in the company of old and new friends in the idyllic setting of the snowy Northwoods.
We’ll set everyone up in the fireplace room of the Boundary Waters Conference Center. You’ll have your own table to spread out on, but be close enough to your neighbors to be able to chat while you stitch. We’ll also have a cutting table and ironing station set up.
When you’re ready for a break from your quilting, we invite you to explore the miles of cross country ski and snowshoe trails that start right right out your door. If you’d like to try a little more speed, hop on a snowmobile or dog sled with our musher and go for a ride (for an extra charge).
You can have as little or as much outdoor recreation during these four days as you choose. Don’t forget to peek outside after dinner to check out the skies for Northern Lights or the Milky Way. All our cabins have a fireplace, and many have a spa tub and sauna. They have a full kitchen, all linens and kitchen equipment. Some also have a washer and dryer.
